Eye Candy Friday–The High Line Edition

At long last–spring has sprung!

This week I took my first lunchtime walk along the High Line, an public park built on what was once an elevated freight rail line on the west side of Manhattan.

The rail ties have been worked into both the landscaping as well as the walkways. There are several different planting zones and public art displays can be found throughout.

It’s still early in the season and areas look bare, but before you know it the High Line will be lush, green, and overflowing with plant life.

Beautiful photos! That first one – with the green, grey, and purple – would make an awesome colorway…
